Hey everybody welcome back to the Lynx Lounge! Today we have a very, very awesome game to talk about, and that is the one and only Blue Lightning for Atari Lynx!
Now if you tune in to The Jag Bar, which I’m sure you do, if you like this show you’re going to be watching the Jag Bar, I mean that’s just the way it is, right?
Now if you remember in the Blue Lightning episode of The Jag Bar we compared the Atari Jaguar CD version of Blue Lightning to the Atari Lynx version, and umm.. what do you know, the Atari Lynx version kind of trumped it. That goes without saying. However, that’s an indication of how awesome this game is and how awesome this machine is.
BLUE LIGHTNING: IS THIS THE FUTURE, OR 1989?
Let’s talk about power and performance. If you were going to show off your Lynx to all your friends that had a Game Boy or something like that, and you really wanted to make them jealous, well of course you’d show them California Games because that was the pack-in. But, if you wanted to show them a game that would just shut them up, stop them in their tracks, and just go “holy moly” and just obviously be completely jealous of you, Blue Lightning was the game that you showed them because it, today in my opinion, is still cool.
Wheels up for the super showcase on the Atari Lynx. Let’s check out today’s episode of Lynx Lounge:
